Port and waterway
engineering studies

Assessment of port conditions, coordination across disciplines and technical solutions for loading infrastructure.

Approach

Port and waterway engineering studies

Port and inland waterway infrastructure needs a multidisciplinary approach that pulls several technical analyses into one. We carry out engineering studies aimed at understanding the situation of a loading port: site conditions, operational constraints, logistics requirements and compatibility with existing infrastructure.

We work at the interfaces between disciplines: geotechnics, hydrology, survey, access roads and operational logistics. We coordinate how each component fits into the overall project analysis, so the result is technically consistent rather than a stack of separate reports.

Our work at Puerto Torocuá on the Paraná river gave us the basis for approaching this kind of project with practical judgment: understand the real site conditions, identify which specialists are actually needed, and articulate engineering solutions matched to the scale and complexity of the case.

Capabilities

What we do

Port engineering studies on the Paraná river: assessment of port conditions, coordination across disciplines and technical solutions for loading infrastructure.

Assessment of port conditions

Site conditions, operational constraints, logistics requirements and compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Loading engineering studies

Technical evaluation of loading options, preliminary sizing and analysis of alternatives on technical and economic criteria.

Coordination across disciplines

Geotechnics, hydrology, survey, access roads and operational logistics brought into one coherent analysis.

Integrated technical solutions

Each component set within the overall project analysis, so the whole holds together technically.

Translation between specialists

The bridge between disciplines: technical translation and consolidation of project criteria.
