About DG Ingeniería
Technical clarity for infrastructure projects — from Asunción, Paraguay.
The firm
DG Ingeniería is an applied engineering firm founded in Paraguay more than ten years ago. We operate from Asunción with a core team of infrastructure specialists — engineers with rigorous academic training and experience on projects of national and regional scale.
Around that core we work with a bench of specialists brought in according to the nature and size of each project. That structure lets us hold technical certainty across disciplines that rarely sit in one firm: roads, pavements, airports, port infrastructure, construction supervision, industrial plants, land development, solar energy and data centers.
As direct contractors to multilateral institutions such as the IDB and CAF, we have delivered projects across multiple regions and contexts, developing our own working methods to hold quality and consistency at every stage.
We work on the owner’s side. Before construction, we establish whether a site works and what it will take. During construction, we verify that what is being built is what was agreed.
Years in practice
Working in infrastructure since the firm was founded in Paraguay.
Areas of specialization
From roads and pavements through to solar, data centers and aerial survey.
Contracted by
IDB, MOPC (Paraguay’s Ministry of Public Works), CAF, Tecnoedil, COMYCSA, FLUODER, Incovial and Prointec, among others.
Working with clients
based outside Paraguay
A recurring question from developers, funds and consultancies evaluating Paraguay is a fair one: what does this firm do itself, and what does it coordinate? We answer it the same way every time, because the answer is what makes the rest credible.
- →Delivered directly by DG: aerial survey with our own drones and terrain modeling, hydrology and flood assessment, earthworks and platforms, internal roads and heavy-transport access, site masterplan and net usable area, technical specifications, quantity take-off and budget, and construction supervision.
- →Coordinated by DG, executed by specialists: geotechnical campaigns and laboratory testing, high-voltage electrical engineering, cooling design, environmental impact assessment before MADES. We manage the scope, the interfaces and the quality of what comes back.
- →Outside any engineer’s scope: the commercial negotiation of firm power and tariff, and any submission that has to be signed by whoever holds title to the site. We prepare the technical case; the owner signs it.
We work in English and Spanish, and correspond across time zones. Where a project needs a confidentiality agreement before scope is discussed, we sign one.
How we work
Five stages that structure every project, so each decision is made with clarity and a technical basis behind it.
Survey
Measured data, so the decisions rest on something
Analyze
Territorial, operational and regulatory reading
Design
Geometric, structural and operational solutions
Coordinate
Geotechnics, hydrology and specialists, integrated
Control
Technical and volumetric verification at each stage
Operating model
The method that structures every project, from data collection through to final verification.
Data
Accurate survey, topography, territorial and regulatory information.
Judgment
Technical analysis, reading of site conditions and evaluation of alternatives.
Decisions
A defined technical solution, argued from the analysis rather than asserted.
Design
Complete documentation: drawings, technical specifications and construction details.
Control
Verification during execution, volumetric tracking and technical conformity.
